Vinyl flex (or flex banner material) is a reinforced PVC-coated polyester fabric — flexible, lightweight and available in 300gsm to 550gsm weights. PVC is a solid plastic film that is more rigid and heavier. For most outdoor banner applications 440gsm flex is the standard. Heavy PVC is used for permanent wall installations and building wraps.
Vinyl flex banners have hemmed edges and metal eyelets (grommets) included in our price. Standard eyelets are placed every 50cm along all edges. You attach the banner using rope, cable ties or bungee cords through the eyelets. For wind-prone locations we recommend mesh banners that allow air through.
